Kinston Regional Jetport at Stallings Field sits in Kinston, North Carolina. Field elevation is 92.9 ft MSL. The airport has one runway. Runway 05/23 is 11,498 ft long, so there is plenty of pavement for a wide range of aircraft. The tower is open daily from 0630 to 2200. One ILS approach is published for runway 05. Pattern altitude is not published, so use the standard 1,000 ft AGL for light piston traffic unless the current Chart Supplement says otherwise.
Kinston Jet Center is on the field. It carries 100LL and Jet A. If you need fuel or ramp details, call them at (252) 208-7715 before you go. The field also has a few operational notes worth planning for. Large unscheduled aircraft operations with more than 30 passenger seats need 24-hour prior permission from the airport manager. When the tower is closed, the approach lighting for runway 05 is activated on CTAF. The runway 23 end identifier lights and the high intensity runway lights for both ends are also tied into that same setup. The PAPI for runway 23 runs continuously. The approach lighting system is unmonitored when the tower is closed.
For clearance delivery, if you cannot reach flight service, contact Washington ARTCC. Check the current Chart Supplement for any updated procedures before arrival.
