Wiley Post-Will Rogers Meml is in Utqiagvik, Alaska. Field elevation is 48.9 ft MSL. The airport has one runway. Runway 08/26 is 7,100 ft asphalt, so this is the runway to plan around. There is no control tower. Use CTAF 123.6 for traffic and after-hours lighting control. One ILS is published for runway 08. The pattern altitude is not published. For light piston planning, use the standard 1,000 ft AGL unless the current Chart Supplement says otherwise.
Eskimos is on the field. It carries AVGAS 100LL, JET A and UL94. Call them at (907) 852-3835 for current service details. Published remarks matter here. MALSR serves runway 08. REIL is on runway 26. High intensity runway lights start at low intensity. The airport also has a TSA security requirement. Gates and doors must stay secured. Larger aircraft should plan on using the elephant ear to turn around. Main ramp taxi lanes have non-standard wingtip clearance. Back taxi on the runway may be the safer move when large aircraft are parked on the main ramp.
This is a coastal Arctic field with waterfowl in the area from spring through fall. Snow removal, wildlife control and maintenance are available during duty hours. Check the current FAA Chart Supplement for any current operational notes before you go.
